Rocket Lab founder Peter Beck has been named BusinessDesk CEO of the Year at an awards ceremony in Auckland.
Peter Beck, founder of Rocket Lab, won the BusinessDesk CEO of the Year award at the 2026 BusinessDesk CEO Index Awards held at Park Hyatt Auckland on Tuesday evening. Beck also won the Listed Companies category. The awards brought together business leaders from New Zealand's startup, listed, private, public sector and professional services communities.
