Free flu vaccine extended to under-5s
New Zealand is making flu vaccines free for children under five, accelerating a decision made by Pharmac.
Ministers David Seymour and Simeon Brown have announced an expansion of free flu vaccine access for young children. The vaccine is now available at no cost for children aged six months until their fifth birthday. The acceleration follows Pharmac's earlier decision to fund the vaccine for this age group from next year.
