Greens say RMA changes coming too late as reform hopes collapse
Critics of the coalition Government's planning reform have abandoned hopes for compromise and are now waiting for a change of government.
After years of attempting to work cooperatively with the coalition Government on planning reform, opponents of its proposed Resource Management Act changes have given up on finding common ground. They are now pinning their hopes on a future change in government rather than negotiating with the current administration. The Greens have indicated the changes are coming too late in the political cycle.
