The Waitangi Tribunal has released findings on Treaty reforms, concluding they breach Te Tiriti principles and prejudice Māori. The tribunal determined the reforms damage the Māori-Crown relationship. Iwi leaders and experts had previously warned the reforms could strip away decades of Treaty protections across key areas.
