Wages rise 4.4% but essentials climb faster
Wages have grown 4.4% over two years while prices for groceries, power and rates have increased much more steeply.
Analysis of recent wage growth shows a 4.4% increase over the past two years. However, essential items including mince, milk, butter, power and rates have all risen considerably faster than wages during the same period.
