Vietnamese couple facing deportation after police discover cannabis grow house in Auckland

A couple brought to New Zealand to operate an illegal cannabis grow operation have been served with deportation orders following police discovery of nearly 200 plants.

Police found around 159 cannabis plants and seedlings, valued at nearly $200,000, at a house in Pukekohe, Auckland. The Vietnamese couple operating the grow house have been served with deportation orders. The pair had been brought to New Zealand specifically to run the illegal operation.
