A US Army Corps of Engineers chartered plane has crashed near an Alaskan radar facility with all eight people aboard killed.

A chartered plane operated for the US Army Corps of Engineers crashed on Thursday near Cape Newenham Long Range Radar Site Airport in Alaska, approximately 725 kilometres west of Anchorage. All eight people aboard the aircraft were killed in the crash.
