A UK coroner has concluded that New Zealand fraudster Donald McPherson unlawfully killed his wealthy wife Paula Leeson, though he was acquitted at trial.

Donald McPherson was cleared of murder in a 2021 criminal trial but has now been found by a UK coroner to have unlawfully killed his wife Paula Leeson. McPherson had taken out a multi-million dollar life insurance policy for Leeson shortly before her death. His current whereabouts are unknown.
