Te Awamutu to install first traffic lights since the 1990s
The Waikato town of Te Awamutu will install its first traffic lights in over 30 years, funded by a new Mitre 10 development.
Te Awamutu is set to get its first set of traffic lights since they were removed in the 1990s. The traffic lights will be installed as part of a private plan change that will also enable a new Mitre 10 store to be built in the town.
