High school students in Te Awamutu have submitted a petition calling for a pedestrian crossing after students were hit.

Students, teachers and parents at a Te Awamutu high school have submitted a petition to the Waipā District Council calling for a road crossing to be installed. The petition, which was created following an incident where students were struck, garnered 336 signatures of support from the school community.
