A Tauranga woman undergoing fertility treatment has been diagnosed with uterine cancer and hopes to return to her IVF journey after treatment.

Jess Payne from Tauranga was diagnosed with uterine cancer while in the midst of her in vitro fertilisation journey, which she had been pursuing for nearly two years. She is now undergoing cancer treatment with plans to resume her fertility treatment once she has recovered.
