Talley's Group continues to withhold $257 million in cash from Bathurst Resources, a West Coast coal miner, as the two companies battle in court. The funds are frozen in their joint venture, BT Mining, while Talley's pursues claims that Bathurst failed to make proper disclosures before the venture was created in 2016. Bathurst says it needs access to the money to capitalise on upcoming mining projects.
