Sky Network Television has reported a significant increase in annual after-tax profit to $59.8 million, up from $20.6 million the previous year. The broadcaster has secured the rights to screen the English Premier League until 2034. The company's underlying net profit, excluding one-off gains from the Discovery NZ acquisition, rose 2% to $41.8 million.
