A major New Zealand fruit grower and exporter continues to unravel, with six related companies entering liquidation this week. The collapse follows the revelation that Crasborn Fresh Harvest owes more than $53 million to creditors. The holding company Consolidated Fruits, which controls Wade Glass's nationwide fruit operations, has avoided liquidation after creditors withdrew their bid to wind it up.
