RNZAF rescues six people from missing boat in Fiji
A New Zealand Air Force plane found and helped rescue six people from a small boat that went missing between islands in Fiji.
Six people departed Namuka Island on Thursday morning bound for Fulaga in the Lau Group but failed to reach their destination. A New Zealand Air Force Poseidon aircraft located the vessel after a six-hour search in strong winds and heavy swells. A Fijian Navy ship then came to their rescue.
