Three regional powers—Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan—have signed a defence agreement deepening their cooperation amid growing security concerns. Under the accord, an attack on any one of the three countries would be treated as an attack on all three. Pakistan's foreign minister stated the pact is purely defensive in nature and remains open to other regional nations.
