Peter Chrisp named finalist in BusinessDesk CEO Index
The former NZTE chief and current Department of Conservation director-general has been selected as one of 24 finalists in BusinessDesk's annual CEO Index.
Peter Chrisp, who spent 15 years leading New Zealand Trade and Enterprise before becoming director-general of the Department of Conservation, has been named a finalist in the BusinessDesk CEO Index for 2026. The index, now in its second year, recognises 24 New Zealand chief executives and business leaders making significant impact in their sectors. Chrisp claims to have visited more export workplaces than any other person in New Zealand during his tenure at NZTE.
