Otago mayors decline early merger process, ORC declines endorsement
Otago regional and local council leaders have rejected participating in an early merger process and the council is not backing any merger proposal.
Otago mayors have opted out of a head start merger process on a principal basis. The Otago Regional Council is also not endorsing any merger proposal at this stage.
