Orion Health pitches national health record system within a year

Orion Health says it could build a national health record for the Government within a year at a fraction of expected costs.

Orion Health has proposed delivering a long-awaited national health record system within a year, estimating costs in the millions rather than tens of millions. Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora is exploring a proof of concept with the company to assess whether it can extract more value from existing Orion clinical portal solutions. The health authority has not yet committed to further development or deployment of the system.
