The Opportunity Party has climbed to 8% in recent polling, but leader Qiulae Wong expressed concern that increased public attention could bring conspiracy theories that undermine the party's progress. Wong, a former businesswoman who joined the party after responding to a job advertisement, believes the party offers fresh ideas to address economic challenges that established parties cannot solve. She said voters are disillusioned with the status quo and the incremental policy offerings of larger parties.
