Motorway crashes cause traffic disruption in Auckland

Two separate vehicle crashes on Auckland motorways have caused traffic delays and closures.

A crash on the Southwestern Motorway resulted in a large oil spill that forced the closure of southbound lanes before normal traffic flow resumed. Separately, another vehicle hit the median barrier on the Northwestern Motorway, causing heavy delays and prompting police attendance. Motorists were advised to avoid the affected areas.
