NZME acquires Stuff printing equipment for $15m
NZME has bought printing equipment from rival Stuff's Petone plant as part of a modernisation and cost-saving move.
NZME, publisher of the NZ Herald and other media outlets, has acquired printing equipment from Stuff's Petone facility in a $15 million investment. The company plans to remove the equipment later this year and relocate its print operations to a smaller, more modern Auckland site. NZME expects the move will generate cost savings and improve profitability of its print operations.
