The organisation reported total revenue of $1.26 billion for the year ended June 30, 2026, up 3.6% from the previous year. Despite the profit recovery, mail volumes continue to fall as fewer New Zealanders send letters. The Government has welcomed the return to profit, which includes a dividend returned to the Crown.
