A moderate earthquake shook eastern Japan early Sunday, injuring more than 30 people. The quake, centred in Ibaraki prefecture, caused minor injuries as people fell or hit furniture while trying to get out of bed. Train services in and around Tokyo were disrupted by the tremor.
