Man dies after being found critically injured in Rotoehu Forest

A 24-year-old man died in hospital after being found critically injured in a Bay of Plenty forest on Friday night.

Police were called to Rotoehu Forest, near Pongakawa, late Friday night after a man was found in critical condition. The 24-year-old was taken to Rotorua Hospital but subsequently died from his injuries. Police say they are determined to find answers for the man's family.
