Jarden Securities reports higher profit despite revenue decline
NZ brokerage Jarden Securities lifted net profit to $16.1m but saw total revenue fall and investment banking fees plummet.
Jarden Securities reported net profit of $16.1 million for the year to March 31, reversing a decline from the previous year. However, total revenue and other income fell to $84.9 million from $93.2 million, with investment banking revenue dropping sharply to $6.0 million. Fee and commission income also declined 16 per cent to $50.1 million.
