Health Ministry sought bigger fuel support increase for home care workers than Government approved
The Government's fuel support for home and community support workers fell between the Health Ministry's preferred level and Treasury's recommendation.
The Government has been providing additional fuel support to home and community support workers. The Health Ministry had wanted a larger mileage rate increase than what the Government ultimately provided. Treasury had recommended an even lower rate than what was decided.
