The comedy spelling bee show returns to New Zealand screens with a new season featuring local comedy talent.

Guy Mont Spelling Bee is back on air in New Zealand after becoming a trans-Tasman television success following critically-acclaimed seasons across the ditch and a Logie Award for host Guy Montgomery. The new season features New Zealand comedy stars including Johanna Cosgrove, Oscar Kightley, Jason Gunn, Lana Walters and Lynda Topp competing in increasingly absurd spelling rounds. Montgomery has expressed hope the format could expand internationally, including to the United Kingdom.
