The Greens have proposed new wealth and inheritance taxes to fund raising the income tax-free threshold and introducing a higher tax rate for high earners.
The Green Party has put forward a policy combining new taxes on wealth and inheritances with changes to income tax. The proposals would raise the tax-free threshold for wage and salary earners to $10,000 and introduce a new higher tax rate for income above $160,000.
