Global long-term yields are rising amid mixed economic signals from around the world. While some economies like Singapore and Japan delivered upbeat data, China's figures were described as uninspiring. Canadian inflation also rose, and tensions in the Strait of Hormuz hardened, contributing to higher oil prices and gold gains. The US 10-year Treasury yield reached 4.73%.
