Four charged after alleged Hamilton shoplifting
Police charged four people after reports of shoplifting at a Victoria Street store in Hamilton on Tuesday lunchtime.
Police responded to reports of shoplifting at a store on Victoria Street in Hamilton at about 12.40pm on Tuesday. Three people were reported to be taking items from the shop. Four people were subsequently charged in connection with the incident.

Inspector Hywel Jones, Waikato District Prevention Manager, said police were called to a store on Victoria St about 12.40pm on Tuesday after receiving reports that three people were taking items from the shop.
