Federated Farmers calls for review of Fonterra milk price frequency

Federated Farmers wants milk price review frequency examined in the government's latest Dairy Industry Restructuring Act review.

Federated Farmers has submitted that the frequency of Fonterra Co-operative Group's milk price reviews should be examined as part of the current review of the Dairy Industry Restructuring Act. The legislation, known as DIRA, was originally created to enable the establishment of the co-operative. Agriculture Minister Todd McClay announced the latest review in May.
