The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment has launched an independent investigation into workplace culture and conduct concerns at the Financial Markets Authority. Kristy McDonald KC will lead the probe. Financial Markets Authority chief executive Samantha Barrass is on leave following the staff complaints that triggered the investigation.
