City Rail Link opens for first public viewing at new Mt Eden station

Aucklanders got their first chance to tour the completed City Rail Link infrastructure at an open day event.

The City Rail Link held a public open day allowing Aucklanders to see inside the new Maungawhau Station for the first time. Visitors were able to view the station's features, including a sculpted basalt wall with water flowing down its face. The 'First Look' events gave locals an opportunity to experience the completed infrastructure.
