Ronald Jeero grew up in Uganda where he had to hide under classroom desks to attend school. Child sponsorship support changed his trajectory, helping him escape poverty. He has since built a life in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. His story is being highlighted on World Humanitarian Day.
