An Auckland-based startup building AI tools to combat online crime has secured funding from prominent New Zealand investors and tech figures.
Azonic, an Auckland startup developing an AI system to target online crime including cults and extremist groups on platforms like Roblox, has raised venture capital at a multimillion-dollar valuation. The funding round includes backing from venture capital firms Blackbird and Antler, as well as investors including Jamie Beaton, Eliot Crowther and Jovan Pavlicevic. The startup has also attracted advisors with experience from Palantir and the FBI.
