Auckland builder fined $8000 for foundation work without licence
An Auckland builder has been fined after carrying out restricted foundation work without a licence and falsely claiming another practitioner had supervised it.
Angelo Madut carried out restricted foundation work before obtaining the required licence. He then told an inspector that another licensed practitioner had supervised the work, but they had not. He was fined $8000 for the breach.
