Convicted rapist and arsonist Allan Titford has been granted parole after serving nearly 13 years in prison.
A former Northland farmer who was convicted in 2013 of raping his wife, committing violence against his children, and burning down his home has been granted parole on his 10th application. He had blamed the arson attack on local Māori. The decision comes after he has served almost 13 years behind bars.
