Air New Zealand has launched an automated passenger rebooking system for international services, significantly speeding up the process when flights are cancelled.

Air New Zealand has extended its automated passenger rebooking system to cover international flights, moving beyond domestic services. The technology can rebook passengers in around 20 minutes, down from the previous 4-hour process. The airline has rolled out the system in the more complex international arena to help manage flight cancellations more efficiently.
