ACC worker ‘blackballed’ from jobs wins larger payout in court

A worker who challenged an ACC ruling after claiming to be blackballed from employment has won a larger payout in the Employment Court.

A worker, identified as UQB, took a case to the Employment Court in Wellington to challenge a ruling made by the Employment Relations Authority. The worker alleged they had been blackballed from jobs and was seeking to overturn the earlier decision. The court has now awarded a larger payout than the previous ruling.
