Man who murdered 7-year-old stepson denied parole

Johnny Joachim, convicted of murdering his 7-year-old stepson, has been denied parole at his first hearing.

Johnny Joachim, 55, appeared before the Parole Board on 24 July for the first time. The board found he still posed an undue risk to the community and declined to grant him parole. He will remain in prison.
