Police pursuit at 162kph average led to fatal motorcycle crash
An IPCA investigation found a police officer's high-speed chase was unjustified before the rider crashed.
A police motorcycle officer pursued rider Levi Proctor for nearly 11 kilometres at an average speed of 162kph, reaching speeds of up to 192kph. The pursuit ended in a fatal crash. The IPCA has determined the pursuit was unjustified.
