The Greater Wellington Regional Council will demolish the rusting 38-year-old canopy and station building at Lower Hutt's Waterloo station by the end of 2027.
The Greater Wellington Regional Council plans to remove the aging infrastructure at Waterloo station, Lower Hutt's main public transport interchange. The 38-year-old canopy and station building have deteriorated and will be knocked down by the end of next year.
