Seine Stowers, aged 18, won the women's 77kg weightlifting title at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. She lifted a combined total of 237kg, setting records with 106kg in the snatch and 130kg in the clean-and-jerk. The victory marks Samoa's first gold medal at the Games.
