Reb Fountain has completed her seventh album, Water for Gasoline, recording it live in her garage studio in Auckland with most songs captured in single takes. The album features the single 'Good People' with Tami Neilson and Dianne Swann, and centres on themes of unity and collective action. In an interview, Fountain discusses her concerns about wealth inequality, her philosophy of love as a driver for social change, and her upcoming October tour across New Zealand.
