Laundromat owner sentenced for threatening and damaging rival’s store
A Hamilton businessman has been sentenced for threatening, blackmailing and intentionally damaging a competitor's laundromat.
A laundromat owner threatened and then sabotaged a new rival business opening across the road. Timothy Jeffs warned the new owners not to open their shop, then carried out a campaign of threats, blackmail and intentional damage. He was sentenced this month on charges relating to the numerous incidents.
